RosettaNet President's visit to Malaysia

 

22 nd /23 rd May 2006 - RosettaNet Malaysia was pleased to host Mr Herman Stiphout, President of RosettaNet on his second visit to Malaysia .

In conjunction with RosettaNet Malaysia Partners Forum, Mr Stiphout presented an update on RosettaNet Global's directions to our partners. Apart from that, the latest solution from RosettaNet known as the “Trading Network Enablement (TNE), was also introduced. TNE is a solution that will enable trading partners to get on board RosettaNet quickly and cost effectively. He also urged the local companies to extend the connectivity to N-tier suppliers and users to enjoy the maximum return of investment.

On top of that, Mr. Foong Heng Huo, Executive Director of RosettaNet Malaysia also presented on the RosettaNet Malaysia's progress and introduced e-logistic to current partners. The Partners' Forum was well attended by a large group of our partners, including those from PentaMaster, D'Nonce, MBM Communications, B-Global Technology, San Yong Enterprises and Sistem Kompakar..

After the partners forum ended, Herman Stiphout was given a tour to the new Engineering Center and there he attended the presentation from the PIP Engineers to further understand the contribution and workflow. Herman Stiphout was very impressed with the competency that was demonstrated and hopes that they can continue to excel and exceed their current capacity in the quality tools and standards to the community.

Mr Shiphout also met with the Chief Minister of Penang , YAB Tan Sri Koh Tsu Khoon. During the meeting, he expressed his gratitude and thanked the Penang state government for the continued support received by RosettaNet and hopes. The YAB Chief Minister was also brief on the work that RosettaNet has done throughout the world.

On the final day of Mr Stiphout's visit, he hosted a CEO lunch at the Hilton in Kuala Lumpur . This was graciously attended by TMNet, DagangNet, B2B Commerce, SMIDEC and Gridnode. During the lunch, Mr Stiphout expressed his gratitude to the CEOs for their continues support in promoting and implementing the RosettaNet standard.
