RosettaNet Thailand 2 days visit to Malaysia
On 13th March till 14th March 2006, Dr. Chayakrit Charoensiriwath and Dr. Kamol from RosettaNet Thailand have paid a visit to RosettaNet Malaysia. The objective of this visitation was to share on the running local RosettaNet organization and RosettaNet Malaysia success story with RosettaNet Thailand. On top of that, RosettaNet Asia Engineering team also conducted training on technical related matter. In this technical training, RosettaNet Thailand are exposed with the technical detail of Partner Interface Processes (PIPĀ®), RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) and RosettaNet Milestone Program; RosettaNet Automated Enabled(RAE).
With courtesy support from Intel, we are allowed to visit Intel warehouse. CP Kang from Intel demonstrates how E-Logistic phase 2 works and provides briefing on how they managed their bonded warehouse. Besides Intel Warehouse, we also visited Priority Cargo warehouse and they have demonstrated how IASDK worked. Priority Cargo with the support from RosettaNet Asia Engineering team, is one of the first member who implemented IASDK which integrated with 4A2 ( Notify of Embedded Release Forecast), 3B2 (Notify of Embedded Release Forecast), 4B3 (Notify of Consumption) and 4C1 ( Distribute Inventory Report ). Priority Cargo is currently using this system with their trading partner and they are expanding their RosettaNet connectivity with local and oversea trading partner. Another interesting agenda during visitation of RosettaNet Thailand, RosettaNet Asia Engineering and Pentamaster Corporation teamed up to demonstrate how RFID is being integrated with RosettaNet standards and how these technology can be used synergistically in a warehouse/logistics environment. Besides, Pentamaster Corporation also prepares a series of different RFID tag and readers to show them. Excel Logistic/DHL sponsored a lunch as courtesy to welcome the visitation of RosettaNet Thailand . During the lunch session, we are lucky enough to have opportunity to meet our Penang Former Chief Minister, Tun Dato Seri Dr. Lim Chong Eu. Tun Dato Seri Dr. Lim Chong Eu also impressed with RosettaNet Malaysia tremendous progress.
